Do you have a catalogue?: We make springs to meet each customer's individual requirements. While we do have an extensive range in stock for immediate supply, our preference is to manufacture to your precise specification. This makes a catalogue redundant.
What Quality Assurance System do you employ?: We are ISO 9001:2000 accredited and we use a number of production sampling techniques to verify that we have built in quality to everything we manufacture. Our people are important too and we operate an ongoing training and development policy so that they have the skills to meet future challenges.
Can you manufacture small and large batch runs?: Yes we have the capacity and the ability to produce single and high volume production batches.
Do you offer a design service?: Yes we have in-house ability to design springs and we also work closely with the Institute of Spring Technology to ensure we are abreast of the latest developments in spring making. Tell us your requirements and we will help you make your product.
Can you work to "Just in Time" and "KANBAN" systems?: Yes. Many of our customers work this way and we have an excellent record of delivering on time and getting it right first time.
What is your lead in time?: Of course this depends on a number of factors such as, complexity of design, tooling required and wire size. A straightforward compression or torsion spring could be on its way to you within 24 hours of receipt of your order. Special and complicated shapes take a little longer. Again tell us your requirements and we will do our best to meet them.
What range of wires do you cover?: We hold a stock of various wire diameters and specifications ranging from spring steel to specialist materials such as the inconnels and elgiloy.
Are your products ROHS compliant?: We manufacture products to customer specific requirements and if ROHS is a requirement then we will ensure that the products are compliant.
What applications are your products used for?: Our products are used in a wide variety of industries including telecommunciations, electronics, electrical, computers, precision engineering, valves & controls, toys & gifts, catering equipment, packaging, agriculture and the oil industry. Wherever a spring, wire shape or flat section is required.
Do you supply prototypes?: Yes we can supply springs for early design concept work and prototypes if required.
